【Event Information】Skill definition and securing human resources(7th March, 2022)

What is Alternative Data?

Alternative Data is generated from sources other than the traditional data which is used by financial institutions and investors for asset management. This includes data which technological developments have made available.

Action Contents

We will contribute to the sustainable growth of the Japanese economy by promoting the creation of a sound ecosystem in which all relevant parties can interact and learn, and in which the use of trusted data is promoted.  Below are our action contents:

Provisioning Information in addition to researching, and seeking transparency of Alternative Data usage from various perspectives
Promoting development of common understanding and social rules for the use of data by holding study groups on the handling and distribution of Alternative Data
Coordinating with relative parties and governmental organizations for appropriate usage on Alternative Data
Hosting seminars and planning events to promote interactions, sharing best practices based on research and demonstration experiments
Creating roadmaps and frameworks for human resource development and defining skill requirements for Alternative Data Scientists
